It’s time for the annual cleaning! On Sunday, July 19th we will have three City of Calgary garbage trucks available (for regular waste) to be filled while we clean up the community. There will be no trucks for organics. There will be a BBQ lunch and refreshments available for volunteers. The trucks will arrive at 9:00 am and will leave at 2:00 pm sharp. Show your pride in the community and pitch in on some community-wide spring cleaning on May 3! The Inglewood and Ramsay community associations are collaborating to clean up the river in the communities. Best of all, there's a free Spolumbo's Sausage at the Community Picnic following the clean-up. The City of Calgary's Branching Out Program provides free trees to residents to plant on their private property, helping expand Calgary’s urban tree canopy and improve environmental health across the city. Participants complete a short online learning module and can then register to receive up to two trees, which they pick up and plant themselves. Learn more about the program .
