From the City of Calgary (June 11, 2025)
Beginning in mid-June, a series of borehole tests will take place to analyze ground conditions near the Green Line alignment in Ramsay.
Work will occur on City-owned property, including on select public streets. On- street work may require lane closures and temporary on-street parking restrictions. Each test location will take about half a day, between 9am and 3pm. Where there are more direct impacts to residents anticipated, Green Line will coordinate with those affected in advance.

What is the work? - Green Line Geotechnical Ground Investigations
Green Line is testing ground conditions through a series of geotechnical and environmental borehole drilling exercises. These tests involve drilling boreholes into the ground, collecting samples, and analyzing the material. These tests provide critical information about the ground conditions and what to expect during construction. These tests are the final series of tests to support detailed LRT infrastructure design.
